Fūkei Sekoro has been in business for 15 years, creating and installing various products. Recently, while reflecting on the works from the past 15 years, I noticed that a significant number of the installations are located in waterside spaces. It may seem obvious now, but Fūkei Sekoro has produced many products primarily made of aluminum. It is only natural that these are frequently used in waterside areas. Items such as fall prevention fences, wooden decks, stairs, ramps, lighting fixtures, handrails, benches, etc. have left a substantial track record in the past. Along with these items, we have now added movable chairs, tables, awnings, and umbrellas—products designed to enhance the vibrancy of the space—and I have called this "Community Riverside Furniture." When considering spaces like decks and stairs as part of a larger community, I feel that they represent "one piece of furniture." I hope these illustrations and products serve as a reference for creating lively spaces by the water.
